Hi, I’m Peg.
Pegsville is where I share my writing, art, and what’s happening in my mind and heart as I try to make it as a full-time creative.
I’ve wanted to be an artist since I was a kid, but it took me until my 40s to save enough money so I could follow my dream. After working in 35 jobs, I now write novels, draw, blog, and teach people about Fear & Writing. It’s joyful, scary, lonely, hard, and gratifying all at the same time.
I’m ambitious and motivated, but I’m also a die-hard public servant that believes in reaching back as much as moving forward. That’s why I try to be open and honest in my blog, and share not just my successes, but also my stumbles, challenges, and failures in hopes that it will help other people who are trying to reach their dreams.
I’m thrilled that you’re here! Take time to wander through Pegsville and read, explore, discover. When you’re ready, please reach out.
Let’s take this journey together.

One of the things I love about being an author is getting the chance to meet new people and talk about writing, the creative process, and how stories can transform our lives.
I enjoy teaching all kinds of groups, from 9 year olds to senior citizens, and everyone in between. If you’re looking for a speaker for your school, library, college, or conference, I might be the right fit for you. Click on Author Visits for details.
