When I became a full-time writer, I answered yes to ALL of these questions. That’s why I created the Fear & Writing course. Once I learned how to face fear and keep writing, I wanted to help others do it too.
WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE?
Fear & Writing is for anyone who wants to write, but is stopped by fear or procrastination. In this 8-day course, I’ll show you how facing fear doesn’t have to be terrible and difficult; instead, it can be empowering and transformative, leading to more self-knowledge and confidence.
WHO TEACHES THE COURSE?
Fear & Writing is taught by me, Peg Cheng, using uplifting videos, short readings, and inspiring writing exercises. After writing part-time for 12 years, I became a full-time writer and had paralyzing fear. I thought I was the only one but when I taught my Fear & Writing workshop at the Seattle Public Library, I met a lot of people just like me. HOW DOES THE COURSE WORK?
Every day for 7 days, you’ll open an email from me and you will:
1. Read the day’s lesson,
2. Watch the day’s video, and
3. Write to five prompts.
On Day 8, you’ll do a reflection exercise and email that to me.
Takes 30 minutes or less per day. Simple yet effective.
