Hello Future Self Workshop on 1/30!

I’m excited to announce that my new workshop, Hello Future Self, is happening on January 30! Many thanks to Jas Hothi and the INF Club, for hosting this workshop. I’ll be teaching this online, so you can be anywhere in the world. Hope to see you in class!

HELLO FUTURE SELF

Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM PST

Hosted by the INF Club

In her book, REBEL MILLIONAIRE, Peg Cheng shares how at age 25, while making less than $19,000 a year, she started saving small bits of money for retirement. 24 years later, she’s well on her way to becoming a millionaire at 65. What caused Peg to start saving and to keep saving? It wasn’t due to having more brains or luck or self-esteem. It was something else entirely: her relationship with her Future Self. In this inspiring workshop, you’ll learn how Peg built financial independence through time travel and how you can too.

What people are saying…

Lizz Zitron, Professor + Librarian

The Contenders is the middle grade novel you’ve been waiting for: diverse characters who are funny and real. Eunice and her friends and family feel so real–they are flawed, kind, complex, a little mean at times, and just wanting to find their place in the world. Highly recommended for every middle school collection.

Laila Atallah, Career Coach

What I love so much about your writing is how personal it is. It gives me permission to accept and love my own humanity, while also giving really helpful tips and mindset shifts, and next steps too.

Mary Elder, Writer + Screenwriter

I would recommend your Fear & Writing class to writers at any stage of their career who struggle with fear (or synonym: “procrastination”). Everyone–from the aspiring writer who says, “I wish I could start writing” to the established writer who laments, “I’m a published author, why can’t I be more productive?”–everyone can get real value out of your class.
