Tarot Writing Prompts on Oct 24!

Halloween-themed Tarot Writing Prompts on October 24, 2021 with Peg Cheng and Anja Schüler-Renner

TAROT WRITING PROMPTS

Hosted by Peg Cheng & Anja Schüler-Renner

October 24, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM PDT

You’ve always been told to keep your skeletons hidden in the closet.

Halloween is the time to get them out.

On Halloween, the veil between the living and the dead thins out. The magical energy of this time of the year is perfect for exploring the darker side of yourself.

The shadow self is all your negative emotions and impulses that you might not want to admit exist. It has many different aspects, including anger, sadness, fear, insecurity, self-hatred, or just feeling left out. When met with compassion and understanding, your shadow self can be the key to unlocking untold riches inside you. When you face your shadows openly, you get an opportunity to heal and move forward in life with more confidence and understanding of who you are.

Tarot Writing Prompts can be a key to open up the mystical realms of your subconscious. So bring a pen and notebook, and get ready to step into the dark with other like-minded folks.

We will begin with a breathing exercise to help us relax and focus on the present moment. Then, we’ll draw a tarot or oracle card, discuss the imagery on the card, and give an on-the-spot writing prompt or question to answer. After each timed writing session, we will chat about what came up for us. Participation in the chat is entirely optional. This workshop is taught via Zoom so you can attend from anywhere in the world.

This workshop is available for live attendance ONLY, and will not be recorded. The magic is in the meeting.

Deadline to register is Saturday, October 23, at 8 AM PDT/11 AM EDT. So don’t delay–register today!

What people are saying…

Lizz Zitron, College Professor

The Contenders is the middle grade novel you’ve been waiting for: diverse characters who are funny and real. Eunice and her friends and family feel so real–they are flawed, kind, complex, a little mean at times, and just wanting to find their place in the world. Highly recommended for every middle school collection.

Jas Hothi, Author + Entrepreneur

I’ve done my fair share of personal finance reading and, well, Rebel Millionaire is probably the single best thing I’ve read. Why? So effortlessly simple and effective. As I’m about to turn 31, this is just the nudge I needed to start saving and investing for my future. Thank you, Peg, and Plaid Frog Press!

What I love so much about your writing is how personal it is. It gives me permission to accept and love my own humanity, while also giving really helpful tips and mindset shifts, and next steps too.
